چکیده

Plants develop a plethora of defense strategies during their acclimation and interactions with various environmental stresses. Secondary metabolites play pivotal role in the processes stress acclimation, therefore deciphering relevant responses exchange interpretation underlying molecular mechanisms that may contribute to improved adaptability efficacy. In current study, tomato plants were exposed short-term cold (5 °C for 16 h) or inoculated (20 d) either Cucumber Mosaic Virus (CMV) Potato Y (PVY). Responses recorded via assessments leaf total phenolic (TP) content, flavonoid (TF) levels, phenylalanine ammonia-lyase (PAL) enzyme activity. The transcription gene families regulating core phenylpropanoid biosynthetic pathway (PBP) at an early (PAL, cinnamic acid 4-hydroxylase, 4-coumarate-CoA ligase) late (chalcone synthase flavonol synthase) stage was also evaluated. results showed stimulated increase TP TF contents, while PAL activity elevated compared viral infection. Besides genes enzymes involved PBP mostly induced by stress, whereas biosynthesis mainly triggered conclusion, abiotic biotic stressors differential regulation metabolism. Taking above into consideration, our highlight complexity diverse stimuli allowing better elucidation tolerance this crop.

Investigation in expression of key genes involved in sanguinarine biosynthetic pathway in Papaver genus under drought and salinity

The presence of morphine alkaloids, anti-microbial and anti-cancer metabolite, sanguinarine, in different species of Papaver genus has made it one of the most valuable plants in the pharmaceutical industry. With regard to the influence of drought and salinity on the increase of secondary metabolites, the present study attempted to investigate the effect of the mentioned stresses on the key genes...

A flower-specific Myb protein activates transcription of phenylpropanoid biosynthetic genes.

Synthesis of flavonoid pigments in flowers requires the co-ordinated expression of genes encoding enzymes in th phenylpropanoid biosynthetic pathway. Some cis-elements involved in the transcriptional control of these genes have been defined. We report binding of petal-specific activities from tobacco and Antirrhinum majus (snapdragon) to an element conserved in promoters of phenylpropanoid bios...

Expression of Key Structural Genes of the Phenylpropanoid Pathway Associated with Catechin Epimerization in Tea Cultivars

Catechin epimerization is an important factor affecting tea catechin compositions and thereby tea quality. However, a lack of tea germplasms with high non-epicatechins limits relative research. Here, a tea cultivar Y510 with high non-epicatechins was firstly reported and used for catechin and RNA sequencing (RNA-Seq) analysis. Results showed that the (-)-gallocatechin gallate and (+)-catechin (...

the analysis of the role of the speech acts theory in translating and dubbing hollywood films

Aflatoxin Biosynthetic Pathway and Pathway Genes

Among the over 185 known species within the genus Aspergillus, Aspergillus flavus is the most economically important because it produces the toxic and carcinogenic aflatoxins. Its non-aflatoxigenic relative A. oryzae is used extensively for food fermentations (Jelinek et al., 1989). It is one of the most abundant soil-borne molds on earth. A. flavus fungus is a saprobe mold that is capable of s...
